Ambaree Majumder

A member of Rotary Club of Marina City in Singapore since 2016, Ambaree Majumder wears many hats in her life within and outside of Rotary. The philosophy that guides her through the diverse roles she plays in life comes from the fundamental belief that love, compassion and kindness must transcend every form of discrimination - race, gender, religion, age and SPECIES.
An IT Business Analyst by qualification, she has changed the course of her career 7 years ago when she became a vegan. She has spent most of her time since then giving talks and conducting workshops to help people transition to a plant based lifestyle. Certified in Whole Food Plant-based Nutrition as well as Food Sustainability, she works with corporates, schools and universities to help them understand the importance of leading a vegan life that is kind to themselves, the planet and our fellow earthlings.
Ambaree is the mother 2 beautiful children - 11 and 6 years who she is raising vegan. Her children are the flag bearers of veganism in their schools and communities. She has been interviewed by various media channels in Singapore, Malaysia and India about vegan parenting in past years.
Currently the President of her club and the Environmental Chair for her district, she has pioneered, since 2022, in organizing Rotary Climate Change Conversation in Singapore, a very successful annual event dedicated to climate change. She is the Co-Chair of the Southeast Asia Chapter of the Environmental and Sustainability Rotary Action Group; the Co-Chair of a groundbreaking task force called the Plant-Rich Diet Task Force and is one of the founders and the President of the international group of Rotary Fellowship of Vegans.

His Rotary Background has also had him lead many breakout sessions at multiple International Conventions on topics of Membership, Service, Foundation, and Leadership. Haresh has served on several RI committees and chaired the RI Young Past Governors committee. He currently serves on the RI membership growth committee 2022-2025, and on the RI Programs committee in 2023-2024
He is a Rotary Foundation alumni, a Major Donor level 2, and a Benefactor of The Rotary Foundation.
He’s happily married to Vandana for 25 years, and a proud father of 2 children.
He believes we must “Be the change we wish to see in the world”, and that “Impossible” is only an opinion.
